SPUR a.s. announces another successful acquisition
The company SPUR manufactures plastic products for various sectors of industry. We produce a wide range of products, from pipe insulation to cable protection, flooring or packaging materials made of foamed polyethylene to swimming noodles or reflective materials. Our products are shipped all over the world. And it has been for more than 30 years.
Thanks to the experience gained through many years of research and development and cooperation with the Tomas Bata University in Zlín, we know how to lighten foams, improve the properties of plastics or filter ultrafine particles in gases and liquids.
Czech and foreign companies contact us with requests for cooperation on the development of new products or improving the properties of existing products. We are especially proud of our role in the worldwide humanitarian project Better Shelter.
We adhere to the principles of sustainability in all our activities. For us, this is not just a marketing term – we try to save primary resources as much as possible and produce from recycled materials, we return all produced waste back to production, we buy electricity with certificates of origin, we produce some green electricity ourselves. Our ambition is to become carbon neutral by 2030 at the latest.

SPUR a.s. produces its products in its own industrial complex in Zlín with a total area of 85,000 m2. The production complex includes about 34,000 m2 of production areas, 24,000 m2 of warehouse space and a thirteen-storey office building. The quality of the products is ensured by long-term professional research and development, experience, testing, production control and quality certification.
